I am Tara, a single, working mother to one precocious toddler who keeps me on my toes in ways I never expected but wouldn't trade for the world!

I decided to start this blog to record my adventures in motherhood, from my decision to embark on parenthood alone to raising a fournado who is an absolute delight, frustration, and the love of my life. 

I hope my adventures bring you a little humor, hope, and an appreciation for this wild ride that is parenthood.  I look forward to feedback, the natural commiseration toddler life brings, and the opportunity to learn from some fantastic parents.
